"All the modern comforts in an old-world hotel" is the lure of this "well-run" Downtown "classic" featuring a "lovely" setting replete with antiques, French tapestries, Persian rugs and "beautiful" chambers that are all "decorated differently"; although "pleasant" service and a rooftop that's "nice for sunsets" are pluses, a few advise "stay elsewhere" "for fun."

Nice location, very nice facility.
They thought a medium well burger meant just a little past raw.
The West gate is a very nice facility. Lots of time I'd be happy with a clean, well-lighted place, and the West gate far exceeded those minimum expectations. The staff were very personable, friendly and helpful. The folks at the front desk were always accessible and always helpful. The room was very clean and it was quite roomy and comfortable.
